01 Agreement to Terms

By contacting Lone Star Haul and Removal, scheduling a service, submitting a quote request, or allowing our crew to perform work at your property, you agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree, do not engage our services.

These terms apply to all customers and properties within our service area in the Greater Houston, Texas region.

02 Service Description

Lone Star Haul and Removal provides junk removal and hauling dispatch services in Houston, Texas and surrounding areas. Our services include, but are not limited to:

Lone Star Haul and Removal operates as a dispatching platform connecting customers with independent haulers. All physical removal work is performed by independent contractors dispatched through our platform.

We reserve the right to decline any job that we determine presents safety risks, involves hazardous materials, or falls outside the scope of standard junk removal services.

03 Payment Terms
Upfront pricing guarantee: You will be given a firm price before any work begins. You are never obligated to proceed. The price you are quoted is the price you pay — no hidden fees, no surprise charges at completion.

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept cash, credit card, debit card, and major digital payment methods. Payment is collected before the crew departs the job site.

Prices are based on the volume of material, type of items, accessibility, and any applicable surcharges (see below). Final pricing is confirmed on-site before work begins and may differ from the initial estimate if the actual volume or conditions differ materially from what was described.

All applicable surcharges are disclosed and agreed upon before work begins. You will never be charged a surcharge that was not disclosed prior to service.

04 Cancellation Policy

24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment without incurring a cancellation fee. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee of up to $50 to cover crew scheduling and preparation costs.

Same-day cancellations made after a crew has been dispatched and is in transit to your location will be charged a trip fee of up to $75.

05 Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

We do not remove hazardous materials including but not limited to: asbestos, chemical waste, medical waste, paint, fuel, batteries (other than standard consumer batteries), or biological hazards. Jobs found to contain such materials will be stopped and may be charged a partial service fee.

06 Liability Limitations

Once items are removed from your property and loaded onto our truck, they are considered disposed. We are not responsible for items that are accidentally included with removal. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring only intended items are presented for removal.

Lone Star Haul and Removal is not liable for:

Our maximum liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We are not responsible for items left at the property after our crew has completed service and departed. Customers are encouraged to do a final walkthrough before the crew departs.

07 Photo Consent

By scheduling service, you consent to our crew photographing the work area before and after the removal for quality assurance, training, and marketing purposes.

Photos may be used on our website, social media, and marketing materials. Photos will not include identifiable personal information such as faces, license plates, or private documents. Interior shots will not identify your specific address without your explicit written consent.

If you do not consent to photography, please notify us at the time of booking. We will accommodate your request, though this does not affect our standard service quality or pricing.

08 Independent Contractor Relationship

Physical junk removal services are performed by independent contractors who are dispatched through the Lone Star Haul and Removal platform. These haulers are not employees of Lone Star Haul and Removal.

All haulers dispatched through our platform are required to maintain appropriate insurance and comply with our service standards. Lone Star Haul and Removal coordinates the service, sets quality standards, handles customer communication, and manages payments.

This independent contractor structure does not affect your rights as a customer or reduce the quality standards you can expect from your service.

09 SMS and Communications Consent

By providing your phone number and submitting a quote request or booking a service, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Lone Star Haul and Removal regarding your service request, appointment confirmations, scheduling updates, and service reminders.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at lonestarhaul@lonestarhaulandremoval.com.

We do not send unsolicited marketing SMS messages. All communications relate directly to your service request or active service relationship with us.

10 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Harris County, Texas.

Before initiating any legal proceeding, you agree to contact us in good faith to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Most issues can be resolved by contacting us directly at lonestarhaul@lonestarhaulandremoval.com or (209) 655-0564.

11 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services following notice of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

The effective date at the top of this document reflects when these terms were last updated.
